CONNECT I

Materials and constructions are my fascination. An interest that, together with my intuitive design process, brings new forms and products. Because of this fascination my graduation project at Design Academy Eindhoven, is a research on connections within clothing. Brass nuts and bolts connect several layers of fabric within a garment, making needle and thread redundant. These joints construct the garment's shape and become decoration at the same time. It makes 'Connect' a clothing collection that can be worn as a piece of jewellery.
